Known limitations

Hotspots are sensor pixels at overpass time — not perimeters, not real-time positions.
Incident acreage/containment are periodic estimates from InciWeb/WFIGS, not measurements.
County population figures describe whole counties, not populations inside fire perimeters.
IMSR national numbers are parsed from a PDF whose format drifts; misses show as “—”.
Snapshots are daily; everything here can be a day old by design.
Never use this tool for evacuation or suppression decisions.
