Down the Cascade corridor
A scrollytelling demonstration — three camera moves down the western Cascades, each bound to a step of prose.
The corridor runs north to south along the western slope of the Cascades. From this altitude the pattern is watershed by watershed: each drainage a distinct fire history, each ridge a boundary in the data.
Closing on the demonstration study area. This step flies the camera to the same coordinates the investigation’s perimeter dataset covers — steps are just prose bound to a camera state.
The final step adds pitch and bearing. Readers with reduced motion enabled get instant snaps between views instead of flights.
